Our client, a 26 year fine dining steakhouse establishment based in the charming Old Market area of Omaha, NE is looking for a specialty General Manager candidate. This person will work with the owner as he prepares to phase himself out of his business to spend more time with family. 

The Owner is offering immediate 10% starting equity in his restaurant with ZERO MONEY DOWN. After training and a vetting period a plan will be created for this person to take over full ownership. No strings attached.

This restaurant focuses on quality ingredients, 100% from-scratch cooking, and interesting flavors, all with an emphasis on warm, genuine service and community involvement. The Owner would like this candidate to have a servant's heart and 100% dedication to staff and the guest. 
 
JOB DESCRIPTION :
The responsibility of the General Manager is to direct the operation of the restaurant. The General Manager will focus on building sales by maintaining the highest standards of food quality, service, cleanliness and sanitation by supervising the management and staff team. In addition, the General Manager must exemplify the core values of the company. 

Dinner service only, 5pm - 10pm, closed Sundays.
99% of staff has been with the restaurant since day one.

 
JOB REQUIREMENTS :
  • Minimum 1-2 years General Manager experience in a full-service, medium to high-volume restaurant, fine dining experience and wine knowledge is a plus. 
  • Stable job history
  • Solid track record of successful performance in prior positions
  • Must be competent in all departmental responsibilities of the restaurant, including kitchen operations
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
 
SALARY & BENEFITS:
  • Base salary range $65,000 - $70,000  (Omaha has the the second-lowest cost of living in the United States)
  • 10% starting equity in the business with zero money down.
  • Future ownership, 100% control of property, restaurant brand, long term stability.
