Chief Financial Officer CFO

Job Summary 

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) provides operational and programmatic support to the Nothing Bundt Cakes (NbC) organization.  The CFO leads the financial team and is the Financial, Human Resource and Technology spokesperson for NbC.  They are responsible for the oversite and compliance of the NbC Franchise system and company-owned bakeries in all financial areas including accounting of NBF, SHIPP and Company Owned Bakeries, budgeting and audit, human resources and technology.  Leads and facilitates the processes required that allow us to achieve the financial and strategic growth objectives of the brand.
 
Job Responsibilities
  • Oversite of the financial performance of NBF, SHIPP Distribution and the Company Owned Bakeries
  • The timely and accurate execution of our annual budgeting process.
  • Oversite of the brands accounting, CapEx, and annual auditing process
  • Oversite of inventory and maintenance of all fixed and financial assets as well as develops systems of internal controls to safeguard assets
  • Review and approve all NBF and SHIPP contracts
  • Lead on financial reporting requirements to LLCP
  • Oversite of the brands technology systems and requirements
  • Impacting our franchisee financial model strength by developing benchmarks and best practices from quarterly P&L’s 
  • Oversite of the reconciliation and auditing of the Local Marketing ad fund
  • Participation in our site approval process and the selection of new bakery owners
  • Oversite for Human Resources and the compliance of employees and people practices
  • Oversite and maintenance of all employment files

Educational/Certification and Work Experience Requirements
  • BS/BA in business administration or relevant field
  • MS/MA a plus
  • CPA preferred
  • 5-7 years of successful franchise experience
  • 5-7 years financial experience of an organization of 50+ employees
 **Compensation : $200k + bonus, benefits, and equity.
