Our Client currently operates 270 locations, and growing at the rate of 20-40 new stores every year. Their growth has created an opportunity for an experienced Facilities Manager. You will be the "Go-To" expert whenever our franchisees have equipment issues. You will manage our national network of service providers as well as be the corporate liaison for our equipment manufacturers, including warranty work.

  • Provide expertise and consultation to Operations on replacement, repairs and preventative maintenance issues.
  • Provide emergency/disaster response for Bakeries as needed
  • Work with operations and contractors, holding the contractors accountable to deliver a quality product on time
  • Manage cyclical services such as hood cleaning, grease trap pumping, fire suppression, HVAC, Roof and Parking Lot PM’s and other services, as deemed necessary
  • Lead planning and installation of numerous special projects, as directed
  • Accessibility for emergency calls during non–business hours
  • Manage external contractors to timely address facilities and equipment needs and avoid/control Bakery downtime 
  • Develop effective open communication with Operations about planned work and impact on business;  effectively prioritize and direct work of maintenance team and contractors
  • Act as first contact for Franchisees facilities and equipment-related issues and downtime resolution, including after-hours or weekend support.
  • Work with the Director of Facilities to manage third-party contractors, develop new and more cost-effective vendors, and monitor and assess service performance
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Knowledge of refrigeration, HVAC, and related building systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with all levels of management
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently having been given defined objectives
  • Capable of easily adapting and solving problems in an expedient manner
  • Ability to manage, lead and motivate others for a successful outcome
  • Technologically proficient using computer, PDA, Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be self-disciplined, goal oriented and highly organized
  • Ability to deliver exceptional customer service while building and maintaining strong relationships
  • Previous multi-unit building management experience, preferably in the food service industry

  • Starting base salary of $60,000- 70,000(based on experience)
